Do you remember that popular children's book series that came out in 1971 called Mr. Men? There was a Mr. Happy, Mr. Cool, Mr. Tickle, and others. This series was by English author Roger Hargreaves commencing in 1971. In 1981 he introduced an accompanying series of Little Miss books, featuring female characters. Mr. Modulo is inspired by these characters.
